Navaneel is a Post-Graduate Student of Biotechnology. His interests encompass Synthetic Biology and Astrobiology.
At present, he is exploring the domain of Standardization in Synthetic Biology Automation in this Lab. He investigates the different methods through which seamless integration may be obtained between different software and hardware used in automating Synthetic Biology protocols.
About Navaneel
Education
Navaneel is an Integrated Masters student of Biotechnology in St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
He is also associated with the Biophysics and Structural Genomics Division of Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata as an Undergraduate Associate.
Hobbies
He is an avid photographer and an amateur microscopist. He loves graphic designing, as well as playing Chess. He initially developed astrobiology as a hobby, but now it is more of a career goal.
Specialization
He has experience in the field of Cytogenetics, Microscopy and practical knowledge of FACS.
Current Projects
At present, he is investigating methods for the seamless integration of software and hardware involved in automation of Synthetic Biology Protocols. Additionally, he is also involved in different review projects regarding the neurological aspects of COVID-19 as well as their long term effects.
